The emPC-A/RPI is based on the Raspberry Pi 2 Model B and is ready to suit industrial needs. Customers receive an inexpensive and very flexibly deployable gateway system, for example for Industry 4.0 applications. The power unit is set up for a 24V connection. The embedded computer in its solid housing has a variety of interfaces: four USB 2.0 interfaces, one 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet port, one HDMI port, a serial interface (either RS485 or RS232), four digital I/Os as well as a real-time clock (battery buffered) and an opto-decoupled CAN interface.
