Today’s commercial processors from Intel, AMD, and Freescale bring unprecedented levels of performance to embedded computing solutions based on standards from VITA, PICMG, and other standards organizations. They are the enabling technology for radar, sonar, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), avionics, vetronics, and other applications in military electronic systems.
